Why we started Haven

After decades of clearing homes across Northern Virginia, we saw the same thing over and over: families facing a parent's or sibling's overwhelmed home, embarrassed to call anyone, and worried about being judged. The companies they found were either fast haulers who treated the home like junk, or biohazard firms priced for crime scenes. Haven exists for the space in between: a calm, respectful crew that clears the home properly and treats the family with dignity.

What we promise

• Confidentiality. Unmarked trucks on hoarding jobs. No photos shared without written permission. No reality TV, ever.
• No judgment. Our crews do not comment on the home or the person who lives there.
• One written price. A written scope and price before work starts, and nothing extra without your approval.
• Your decisions. Nothing on the keep list is removed, and anything uncertain is set aside for you.

Who you will work with

Haven is owner-operated. Wasim Talib, the owner, oversees walkthroughs and pricing. We are fully insured, and we provide certificates of insurance to associations, property managers and buildings on request.

Who we partner with

Hoarding is rarely just a cleaning problem. We work alongside biohazard remediation specialists, professional organizers, therapists, adult protective services caseworkers, elder-law attorneys and realtors, so the family has one point of contact while the right specialist handles each piece.
